To make the teachers sufficiently groomed in both theory and practice of his/her subjects and acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for the teaching subject in an integrated manner.

Making them able to understand diverse needs of the learners and to select appropriate teaching strategies for them.

To develop competencies among student-teachers to select and use appropriate assessment strategies for facilitating learning.
